Retrofit Unit WGC PT Kilang Pertamina International Refinery Unit VI Balongan
The success of PT. PM Control Systems in the retrofit project of the WGC (Water Gas Compressor) unit at PT Kilang Pertamina International Refinery Unit VI Balongan marks a significant achievement in enhancing operational efficiency. In this project, PT. PM Control Systems successfully replaced and upgraded the critical MSV (Main Stop Valve) in the gas flow control system, along with the installation of Varistroke, a technology that improves valve control performance with higher accuracy.
With this successful retrofit, PT Kilang Pertamina has experienced overall system performance improvements, reduced the risk of critical equipment failures, and ensured more stable and safe operations. This project also supports the company’s efforts to maintain production continuity and minimize downtime, ultimately increasing the refinery’s overall efficiency and productivity.
